Former UFC Middleweight Patrick Cote Signs with Ringside MMA, Debuts This Spring

Patrick “The Predator” Cote has a new home.
The former UFC middleweight has signed on to compete in Ringside MMA based out of Cote’s hometown of Montreal starting this spring.
The news of the signing was confirmed to MMAWeekly.com by sources close to the negotiations on Wednesday.
Cote (13-7) had a tough run to end his recent stint with the UFC. After shattering his knee in a 2008 title fight against Anderson Silva, the Canadian had to undergo several operations and sit out for over a year before he was able to return to action.
Upon his return, Cote came up short against Alan Belcher and Tom Lawlor before being released from the promotion.
Now he’s more motivated than ever to get back to action and hopefully return to the UFC one day.
While no opponent or date has been set for Cote’s debut, it’s expected he will make his first appearance for Ringside MMA by this spring.
